Commissioned by the City of Albuquerque to utilize an expiring 2019 Obesity Grant, Dante Betsch created a hand-drawn illustrated scavenger hunt and coloring map encouraging youth to explore their city after COVID-19. Developed in close partnership with the Department of Arts & Culture, the map highlights three prominent Albuquerque areas known for public art: UNM, Nob Hill, and Downtown. The piece was used throughout the summer by Youth Connect, a city-endorsed initiative, to encourage young people to get outside and reconnect with their community during a period shaped by Zoom learning.
