Created in collaboration with the City of Albuquerque, Meow Wolf, Blake’s Lotaburger, and the eighteen selected artists for Route 66 Remixed, this promotional hand-drawn map celebrates Albuquerque’s 18-mile stretch of Route 66. Designed for the Route 66 centennial, the map served as the initiative’s primary commemorative promotional material. The front features Dante Betsch’s hand-drawn illustration of Albuquerque’s Route 66 corridor and diverse community, while the back functions as a full map highlighting the eighteen public art projects commissioned for the centennial. Dante Betsch was responsible for the layout, illustration, development, and coordination of the piece.
